2022 – Hold onto your hat, this is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. First off it smells like a Bordeaux, not a Washington State wine. Very broody, dark berry, black currant, boysenberry, blackberries, toasted barrel, vanilla, spice and earth. On first sip the dry tannins come out swinging, second sip gives way to the complex black and red berry fruits, very long, dry finish. Give this one some room in a large glass, it needs room to spread it’s wings.–Finn
