Description
Il Farneto Berzmein 2021 is a still red wine produced from 100% Marzemino grapes grown on the biodynamic estate of Azienda Agricola Il Farneto in Emilia-Romagna. The vineyards are planted on sandy-clay soils between the hills of Scandiano and Canossa, near Castellarano. Grapes undergo 7-10 days of skin fermentation in concrete tanks before aging for 12 months in old oak tonneaux, followed by additional time in concrete. Il Farneto Berzmein 2021 is bottled unfined and unfiltered, fermented with native yeasts and minimally intervened throughout, preserving the grape’s distinctive varietal character.
