Jean Foillard Morgon Côte du Py is a natural red wine from the Beaujolais region of France, crafted exclusively from Gamay grapes. The grapes are sourced from old vines planted on the schist and granite soils of the Côte du Py vineyard, a renowned slope outside the town of Villié-Morgon. Foillard employs traditional winemaking methods, including whole-cluster fermentation and carbonic maceration, followed by aging in older oak barrels. The wine is produced with minimal intervention, adhering to organic farming practices, and is bottled with little to no added sulfites. This approach results in a wine that authentically expresses the terroir of Morgon.
