Description
Le Courage represents Jean-François Ganevat’s mastery of Alsatian terroir translated through Jura winemaking philosophy. Crafted from old Riesling vines cultivated on steep granite slopes in Obernay, Alsace, this natural Vin de France blanc undergoes three and a half years of lees aging in foudres using indigenous yeasts. The wine is vinified completely without inputs, including sulfur, allowing pure terroir expression. Hand-harvested grapes are pressed as whole clusters and undergo extended lees contact for two years plus one year of bottle aging. This biodynamic approach, unfiltered and unfined, creates an authentic Alsatian Riesling with distinctive Jura character.
