From 60+ year old vines growing on teh top of a moderate slope. Soil is shallow Oxfordian marl. 12 months of aging in barrels (0–20% new), and an additional two months in tanks, resulting in a low-intervention, finely filtered wine. A well-defined bouquet featuring primary notes of white peach and pithy pear. Subtle floral hints of aubépine (hawthorn) and acacia are present, alongside a distinctive limestone-driven mineral profile of flint. a keen thread of acidity. It is described as elegant and perfectly poised, with some weight and a silky, round texture. 13% ABV
