Description
Kuentz-Bas Alsace Blanc is a dry white wine made from a blend of Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Muscat, Pinot Gris, and Gewurztraminer grown in Husseren-les-Châteaux, Alsace. The estate sits at one of the highest elevations on the Alsace Wine Route, with vineyards on limestone, silt, and loess soils. Under Jean-Baptiste Adam’s leadership since 2004, the domaine is certified organic and biodynamic, farming vines aged 25 to 45 years. The blend is fermented and aged in 100-year-old oak foudres, producing a dry, expressive, and food-friendly white wine.
