Kuentz-Bas Pinot Blanc is a dry white wine crafted from a blend of Pinot Blanc grown in Husseren-les-Châteaux, Alsace. The estate sits at one of the highest elevations in Alsace, with vineyards stretching across limestone, silt, and loess soils that impart powerful aromatics and vivacious energy. Under Jean-Baptiste Adam’s leadership since 2004, the domaine practices organic and biodynamic viticulture on vines aged 25-45 years. The grapes undergo slow, gentle whole-cluster pressing over 4-6 hours, followed by fermentation and aging in traditional oak foudres for six months, creating an authentic expression of Alsatian terroir with remarkable food-friendliness.
