Description
La Grange 476 Côtes du Jura is a white blend of Savagnin and Chardonnay grapes cultivated in Menétru-le-Vignoble, at the heart of the Jura region in France. The vineyards, managed by Dimitri Vetois and Marion Valverde since 2019, span nearly 4 hectares and are dedicated to organic and biodynamic farming practices. The duo employs traditional methods, including horse-drawn plowing with Comtois horses, to maintain soil health and biodiversity. They practice minimal intervention in the cellar, allowing natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts and extended aging periods to let the wines develop balance and purity. This approach aims to express the unique micro-terroirs of the Jura authentically.
