Description
La Morella Freisa is an organic red wine from the Colli Tortonesi region in Piedmont, Italy, crafted by Enio Ferretti from 100% Freisa grapes. The vineyard, located in Carezzano Superiore at 343 meters elevation, has practiced organic farming since 1985 on limestone, clay, and marl soils. The south-facing vineyards benefit from warm climate and constant winds. Winemaking follows minimal intervention principles with no clarification, filtration, or chemical additives, allowing natural evolution through spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts.
