Description
Le Batossay Ouech’ Cousin Grolleau is made from Grolleau Noir grapes, grown in a biodynamic vineyard with loam soil. The vines, planted in 1974, were previously used by Baptiste’s father, Olivier, for the le Cousin Grolleau cuvée. The production process includes a 14-day whole cluster fermentation followed by 6 months aging in large, old barrels. This wine is produced without fining, filtering, or the addition of sulfur, and it’s juicy and refreshing.
