Description
Le Batossay Puppet Nat is a pet-nat sparkling wine crafted by Baptiste Cousin from organically farmed grapes in the Loire Valley’s Anjou region. The wine is made using whole bunch fermentation followed by bottling during primary fermentation to create natural effervescence. The vineyards are planted on varied terroir including clay, limestone, quartz, and schist soils, farmed biodynamically with horse plowing. The winemaking process employs no fining, filtering, or sulfur additions.
