Description
Le Coste Paíno 2017 represents the most ambitious skin-contact wine from Gianmarco Antonuzzi and Clémentine Bouveron’s Lazio estate. Made from 100% Procanico sourced from the Le Coste and La Chiesa vineyards, yields are severely restricted to a maximum of three bunches per vine. After destemming, the grapes macerate for one month in conical French oak vats with spontaneous fermentation. Le Coste Paíno 2017 then ages one year in terracotta amphorae followed by two years in old 500-liter oak barrels. Bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfites after additional bottle aging.
