Description
Situated between the Garonne and Dordogne Rivers, the Entre-Deux-Mers winegrowing region of Bordeaux is relatively unknown but is vast in size. The appellation experiences a moderately continental environment thanks to hot and sunny days mitigated by cooling influences that come off the nearby waters. The 2019 growing season was a bit on the drier side, which led to an early harvest. Primarily known for bold red blends, Bordeaux and Entre-Deux-Mers also produce beautiful white blends like our stunning Sauvignon Blanc Sémillon blend. During this wine’s fermentation process, the fruit was separately kept under extremely low temperatures to pull out all the best flavor notes. Once blended together, Sémillon brings white floral notes and structure and a rich mouthfeel while Sauvignon Blanc adds a vibrant acidity and fresh citrus flavors. A perfect wine for drinking al fresco during a cool fall evening or with fresh dishes and bright vegetables. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.
