Description
Les Abrigans La Jajathèque 2022 is a dry red wine blending Carignan and Grenache Noir from old vines on schist slopes in and around Villeneuve-les-Corbières in the Corbières, Languedoc. The Carignan component undergoes whole-cluster carbonic maceration for approximately three weeks; the Grenache Noir is fermented traditionally in tank. The two varieties are blended before bottling, with the wine resting briefly in old large-format foudres. Produced by Les Abrigans, run by Laura Lees and Arthur Joly, this is the lightest and most fruit-forward red in the range. Unfined, unfiltered, no added sulfites. 12.5% ABV. Vin de France.
