Description
Les Cigales dans la Fourmilière Escarpolette Blanc is a natural orange wine from Montpeyroux in the Languedoc, crafted by Julie Brosselin and Ivo Ferreira. This skin-contact white wine blends Terret Bouret and Muscat à Petit Grains grown on 10 hectares of organic vineyards in the Mediterranean hills near Larzac plateau. The grapes undergo 2 weeks maceration on skins followed by spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in neutral vessels. The wine is bottled unfined, unfiltered with no added sulfites, reflecting the estate’s minimal intervention philosophy and Mediterranean terroir expression.
