Description
Les Foulards Rouges La Soif du Mal Blanc is a beautifully balanced natural white wine from Roussillon, France, crafted by Jean-François Nicq. This cuvée is a blend of Macabeo (40%), Grenache Blanc (30%), and Muscat (30%), grown organically on granitic and gneiss soils. It showcases Nicq’s expertise in natural winemaking, employing direct pressing and spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts. The wine is aged on its fine lees for about four months, giving it a fresh and fruity profile with added complexity. Expect aromas of citrus, stone fruits, and a touch of florality, combined with a vibrant acidity that makes it perfect for pairing with seafood, white meats, or Mediterranean dishes. Like others from Les Foulards Rouges, this wine is produced with minimal intervention.
