Description
Les Foulards Rouges Potemkine is produced in the Roussillon region of France by Jean-François Nicq. The wine is crafted from a blend of Grenache Gris and Blanc, grown on granitic soils near Montesquieu-des-Albères. This natural wine is made using whole-cluster fermentation for about 10 days, followed by six months of aging in used 500-liter barrels. The winemaking is organic and low-intervention, emphasizing freshness and purity.
Potemkine has vibrant flavors of ripe citrus and stone fruits and a subtle touch of minerality. It has a balanced, refreshing profile with hints of tropical fruit and a lingering, crisp finish.
