Description
Longarico Nostrale Catarratto is produced from 100% Catarratto grapes grown on clay and calcareous soils in Western Sicily near Alcamo. This collaborative project between Luigi Stalteri and Alessandro Viola employs organic farming practices at 350 meters elevation on Mount Bonifato slopes. The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks, followed by seven months aging on lees. Bottled unfiltered and unfined with minimal sulfites, this natural wine showcases authentic Sicilian winemaking traditions and terroir expression.
