Description
Louis-Antoine Luyt’s Pipeño Tinto is a natural red wine from Chile, crafted in the traditional pipeño style, which historically refers to simple, young wines made for local consumption. This wine is produced from the País grape, from old vines. The grapes are hand-harvested, manually destemmed using a zaranda (a traditional sieve) and fermented in open wooden vats known as lagares. This approach allows for spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts. The wine is then aged briefly in pipas (large wooden barrels), maintaining its fresh and vibrant profile.
