Description
Bahian is a natural white wine produced by Lucas Madonia in the Valais region of Switzerland. Crafted from 100% Savagnin grapes, the wine reflects the unique alpine terroir of Ayent, characterized by schist and limestone soils at elevations between 600 and 850 meters. The grapes are hand-harvested and undergo direct pressing, followed by fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged for one year in old Burgundy barrels and bottled without fining, filtration, or added sulfites, resulting in a pure expression of the Savagnin grape and its mountainous origin.
