Lucy Margaux, founded by Anton van Klopper in the Adelaide Hills, Australia, stands at the forefront of the natural wine movement. Van Klopper, originally hailing from South Africa, embarked on a winemaking journey that challenges conventional norms, embracing a minimal intervention philosophy.
His approach is characterized by the absence of added yeasts, filtering, and fining, making his wines a pure expression of the grape and its terroir. The winery’s commitment to no sulfur addition at any stage of the winemaking process marks a significant move towards entirely sulfur-free wine production.
