Description
Mae Son Vino Orange 2022 captures the alpine essence of Italy’s Dolomites in a skin-contact white crafted from 100% Müller-Thurgau. Fourth-generation winemaker Matteo Furlani harvests grapes by hand in early September from vineyards perched between 300 and 720 meters elevation near Povo, above Trento. The calcareous soils mixed with clay and porphyry benefit from cooling northern winds and the famous Ora del Garda breeze. Mae Son Vino Orange 2022 undergoes 20-25 days of skin maceration, spontaneous fermentation in open-top steel vats, and stainless steel aging until April—unfined, unfiltered, with zero added sulfites.
