We are honored to introduce the newest vintage of our Mannaggia All’Alba Sangiovese. Harvested and crafted by the same skillful hands as its previous 2019 “Best of Class” vintage, we are confident this 2020 release will follow in its predecessor’s Gold Medal-winning footsteps. This Old World-style wine showcases an Italian classic by balancing modest fruit flavors with savory oak and spice. Our winemaking partners have been working in the Rubicone region since the 1920s, passing down their craft through generations. Their knowledge and commitment play an integral role in crafting this Sangiovese. Harvest was conducted by hand during the chilly nights of mid-September to ensure long-living aromas and mindful fruit selection. Fermentation took place in traditional concrete vessels, amplifying fruit flavors before elegant oak influence added complexity and softened textures.
