Description
The wines of Marcel Cabelier are produced in the Jura region of France. Jura is smashed up against the Swiss mountains southeast of Burgundy and is known to be a very difficult place to make wine. They have clearly overcome the challenges however as their wines are made at the best negociant house in the area and their Cremant du Jura wines are some of the absolute best sparkling wines outside of Champagne while retailing for half the price.
The nose on the Cremant Du Jura Rose is reminiscent of a freshly baked strawberry, rhubarb coffee cake with notes of grilled toast. On the palate, it is full of flavor, persistent bubbles and tapers off to a lovely dry finish.
