Description
Marcel Lapierre Morgon N 2024 represents the estate’s zero-sulfur cuvée—the “N” indicating “sans soufre” (no added sulfites). Made from 100% Gamay grown on decomposed granite soils in Villié-Morgon, the vines average 60-70 years old. Grapes undergo traditional Beaujolais semi-carbonic maceration without SO2 for 10-21 days, fermenting with indigenous yeasts before aging nine months in 216-liter oak barrels. Marcel Lapierre Morgon N 2024 bottles unfiltered and without sulfur additions. The estate, now run by siblings Mathieu and Camille Lapierre, farms organically with biodynamic experimentation.
