Description
Mario Macciocca Monocromo #3 Rosato 2022 is a dry rosé made from 100% Cesanese, the indigenous red grape of Lazio, grown on biodynamic vineyards on the slopes of Monte Scalambra in the province of Frosinone, at approximately 380 to 400 metres altitude. The soils are red volcanic clay and limestone-marl, with south and southwest exposures that provide a temperate, wind-sheltered microclimate. Produced by Mario Macciocca on four hectares of estate vines, the grapes are hand-harvested and undergo a brief skin maceration before spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts. Mario Macciocca Monocromo #3 Rosato 2022 is bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with no added sulfites. Lazio, Italy.
