Marto Manna Rheinischer Landwein 2023 is a red-white blend produced by Marto, the label of Martin Wörner, based in Flonheim in the Rheinhessen region of Germany. The wine combines Portugieser and Regent, both handled as direct press, with macerated Scheurebe, all sourced from a single vineyard planted on clay and limestone soils. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts, with the components vinified separately before blending. The wine ages in old barrels for several months prior to bottling, with no fining, no filtration, and no added sulfites. Marto Manna Rheinischer Landwein 2023 sits in the register between a light red and a rosé, driven by fresh red fruit, floral aromatics, and lively acidity.
