Description
Mas Champart Saint-Chinian is made primarily from Mourvèdre with Cinsault and a splash of Syrah from the Saint-Chinian appellation in Languedoc. The estate farms 25 hectares on distinctive limestone and clay terroir in the Mediterranean climate near Béziers. Hand-harvested grapes undergo direct pressing and spontaneous fermentation, with the wine completing malolactic fermentation to add weight and depth. The rocky limestone soils provide natural water retention during drought periods, contributing mineral freshness and garrigue aromatics to this traditionally-made rosé.
