Description
Meinklang Burgenland White is a biodynamic white wine from Austria’s Burgenland region produced by the Michlits family estate. The blend consists of Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, and Muscat grapes grown on sandy loam and rocky topsoil near the Hungarian border. The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, followed by four months aging on lees. Hand-harvested from 10-60 year old vines, bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfites. Demeter-certified biodynamic farming within Neusiedlersee National Park utilizes holistic practices and natural fertilization from Angus cattle.
