Description
The Mendall Abeurador Blanc 2023, produced by Laureano Serres in the Terra Alta region of Catalonia, is made from 100% Macabeo grapes sourced from 45-year-old vines planted on clay, limestone, and sandy soils at an elevation of 450 meters. Laureano’s natural winemaking approach involves direct pressing of the grapes and aging in stainless steel tanks, with no added sulfites. The wine expresses the region’s unique terroir, with a focus on organic and biodynamic practices, resulting in a fresh, vibrant style.
This wine offers aromas of green citrus, sea salt, and Mediterranean herbs. Its refreshing, slightly spritzy palate showcases bright acidity and a mineral-driven finish.
