By reducing the blend size, our team is able to carefully select the finest lots by hand, intensifying and honing our selection and blending process. Through this, we are able to choose vineyards and blocks that best exemplify the authentic flavor and feel of a Mount Veeder Napa Valley Cabernet, ensuring it embodies the depth, intricacy, and vibrancy of our signature mountain-inspired style. Our meticulous sourcing strategy involves only selecting fruit from vineyards that exhibit the unique character and complex flavors reflective of our Mount Veeder estate and signature house style. Including fruit from our Mount Veeder estate vineyards in the final blend for our Napa Valley Cabernet adds depth and character, further ensuring it embodies the style and essence of our mountain estate wines.
Tasting Notes: The nose is characterized by expressive aromas of baking spices, cedar, fig, and black cherry. On the palate, brooding red fruit takes center stage, while the wine remains soft and structured. Plush tannins, moderate acidity, and a lingering finish with hints of black tea and bramble round out this expertly crafted wine.
