Old Forester 150th Anniversary (Batch 3) is a 126.8 Proof (63.4% ABV) straight bourbon produced at the Old Forester Distilling Co. (Brown-Forman). This 2020 release utilizes the signature 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley mash bill. The liquid matured in Brown-Forman’s Shively heat-cycled rackhouses, where controlled temperature fluctuations accelerated the interaction between the spirit and the wood.

While Batch 1 focused on fruit and Batch 2 on spice, this third batch was composed of 51 barrels hand-selected by Master Distiller Chris Morris for their “sweet and roasted” characteristics. This results in a concentrated profile of toasted coconut, dark chocolate, and charred oak, bottled unfiltered at a robust batch strength.
