Description

A sparkling rosé made entirely from Barbera, Podere Pradarolo Indocilis Rosato Frizzante 2020 hails from the hills of Varano de’ Melegari in Parma province. The Carretti family farms 5 hectares organically on Cretaceous-origin soils of clay, sandstone, and limestone between 250 and 500 meters elevation. Extended skin contact during spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts gives the wine its rosé color and textured character. Podere Pradarolo Indocilis Rosato Frizzante is bottled without fining, filtration, or added sulfites—a true zero-zero frizzante from the heartland of Emilia-Romagna’s sparkling tradition. 12.5% ABV.
