Description
Poggio delle Baccanti Campania Aglianico is a natural red wine crafted from 100% Aglianico grapes grown organically on the volcanic slopes near Mount Vesuvius. The La Mura family—brothers Raffaele and Paolo, along with their cousins—have been making wine on the Sorrento Peninsula since the 1950s. Poggio delle Baccanti employs low-intervention winemaking: spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and minimal sulfite additions at bottling. The volcanic ash and mineral-rich soils of Campania lend this 14% ABV wine a distinctive character, bottled under the Campania IGP designation.
