Description
It’s hard to imagine a more harmonious union than the blend of quality and originality that come from the Posted Accord. This red blend has something that lingers. Maybe it’s the blue fruited elegance? We suspect it’s the complex finish that is at once round and meaty, while still maintaining hints of light florals that dance on a smooth and velvety finish. This wine is the perfect complement to smoked and grilled meats, but it can pair with a variety of noodle dishes, stir-fry, and even hearty soups. Judges love it too! It took home a Bronze from the 2019 Hilton Head Island Wine and Food International Wine Competition.
The winery responsible for making this wine is Babylon’s Peak, which is nestled on the slopes of the Paardeberg Mountains. It’s a family-run cellar currently in its fourth generation. Winemaker Stephen Basson uses his upbringing at the vineyard to drive his winemaking process and focuses on making wines that truly represent the terroir of South African soils.
