Description
Pradarolo Indocilis Rosso Frizzante 2021 is a natural sparkling red wine from Podere Pradarolo, the estate of Alberto and Claudia Carretti in the hills southwest of Parma, Emilia-Romagna. Made from 100% Barbera grown organically on clay-limestone soils of Cretaceous origin, the grapes undergo an extended 30-day maceration before fermenting spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. The wine is then refermented in bottle using fresh Barbera must and left undisgorged, preserving its cloudy, rustic character. Pradarolo Indocilis Rosso Frizzante 2021 sees no sulfur additions, no filtration, and no fining—a traditional Emilian sparkling red in its purest form.
