Primal 100-year-old Grenache 2022 draws from one of California’s most remarkable vineyard sites: Cederquist Vineyard in Fresno County. The oldest block, planted in the 1890s, makes this wine a rare expression of heritage viticulture. Winemaker Jack Sporer of direct-presses the grapes and ferments them before aging in neutral French oak barrels. Bottled unfined and unfiltered at 11.9% alcohol, Primal 100-year-old Grenache 2022 offers a lighter-bodied style that showcases the concentration and complexity only century-old vines can achieve—fresh, savory, and effortlessly drinkable.
