Description
Cabernet Sauvignon from Hunter Ranch, a regenerative farming vineyard. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered, aged in neutral French oak for one year. Full-body, quintessentially Californian wine that manages to be quick on its feet. Tannins are well-integrated, the fruit is plump and round, and the finish is persistent. Perfect barbecue wine.
Juicy Grenache from Cederquist Vineyard in Fresno County. The grapes are direct-pressed and fermented, and the wine is aged in neutral French oak barrels. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered. Light ruby red, nose with small berries, rhubarb, and cola; the palate is fresh and savory with balanced acidity. This is the lightest wine we made, perfect with pizza, tacos, and cold cuts.
California Zinfandel from a vineyard on top of Konocti Mountain, CCOF-certified organic. Direct-press, bottled unfined, unfiltered with minimal sulfites. Bold and aromatic, with ripe blackberry, raspberry, and dark cherry at the forefront; medium to full-bodied on the palate with chewy tannins. I like this wine for its versatility; it sits in between the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Grenache.
