From the hills of Montecchio Emilia comes Quarticello Le Mole Malvasia Orange 2022, a skin-contact wine crafted from 100% Malvasia di Candia Aromatica. Roberto Maestri founded Quarticello in 2001 and began producing wine in 2006 after studying viticulture and enology. The estate sits in Val d’Enza on gravelly sand-clay soils. Grapes ferment spontaneously with indigenous yeasts following extended maceration on skins. Quarticello Le Mole ages on its lees before bottling without fining or filtration. Roberto farms organically, certified since 2015, following biodynamic principles.
