Wines are often described as having terroir, which is defined as a “sense of place.” It means that you can taste where a wine has come from. Oysters are the same, and we wanted to find a wine that can showcase the merroir of our favorite Ocean food. Whether you enjoy the sweetness of a West Coast oyster or the brine of the East Coast, the Rakes Point Merroir Sauvignon Blanc will be the perfect pairing. With light hints of Clementine, grapefruit, and lime dancing around basil and wet stone, it is complex without overwhelming the delicate flavors of the sea.
