Auxerrois Moenchreben de Rorschwihr was grown on rich calcareous marl. A gentle nose promises creamy smoothness and has a lemony herb overtone. The palate is sweet and brims with the juiciest, ripest Mirabelle, almost with Mirabelle compote. The 2020 is rounded but soothingly cool and fresh, very fine-boned. 58 g/L of residual sugar.
A rich, often off-dry or sweet, biodynamic Alsatian white wine known for its lush texture and complex flavors of honey, tropical fruits (mango, peach), citrus, and white flowers, showcasing the unique limestone terroir of Rorschwihr’s Rotleibel vineyard, offering great aging potential and balanced sweetness with vibrant acidity. 12.5% ABV
