The 2009 Rolly Gassmann Pinot Gris Rotleibel de Rorschwihr Vendanges Tardives is a rich, late-harvest (VT) white wine from Alsace, France, characterized by high residual sugar, tropical fruit notes (apricot, pineapple, candied citrus), and significant aging potential. Late harvest (Vendanges Tardives) to ensure high maturity, often with botrytis (noble rot). Gentle pressing, 10-12 hour skin contact for aroma extraction, and 4-10 month slow, natural fermentation. Aged on fine lees in large, old oak barrels (25-100 hl) for at least 5-11 months before bottling. 65 g/L to 75 g/L of residual sugar. 13% ABV
