Ruth Lewandowski Boaz Carignan is a natural red wine made from 100% Carignan grapes grown organically at Testa Vineyard in Mendocino County, California. The vineyard, farmed by the Testa family for over 100 years, is situated at an elevation of 700 feet on sandy, pebbly, loam alluvial soils. Winemaker Evan Lewandowski employs whole cluster fermentation with native yeasts and no temperature control. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation, minimal sulfur addition, and is bottled unfined and unfiltered following natural winemaking principles that emphasize terroir expression.
