The Rutherford Hill 2016 Merlot is an elegantly refined blend of classic Bordeaux varietals that create a beautiful bouquet of rich aromas and prolonged flavors. Lavish cherry fruit flavors are backed by a rich, balanced structure for an intensely complex Merlot. Gently aged in one of Napa’s cave systems for 18 months in French oak barrels. Rutherford Hill is able to influence every aspect of the wine by limiting interaction; the wine is able to age gracefully. The resulting wine is absolutely delicious; no wonder it has 92 points from critic James Suckling.
