100% Chardonnay
The 2018 Salentein Reserve Chardonnay is a high-altitude (1,300m/4,000ft) Argentinian wine from the Uco Valley, featuring a complex, full-bodied profile. Whole clusters of hand-harvested grapes are pressed in a pneumatic press before fermentation in oak. The wine is golden yellow with green tints. The nose is full of aromas of fresh citrus, pineapple and toasty oak. On the palate the wine has flavors of apple and lemon and a refreshing acidity, with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, butter, and oak. Crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes, it is known for its vibrant acidity, mineral character, and long, toasted finish. 13.5% BV
