2020 – The grapes for the 2020 Santadi Vermentino “Villa Solais” are hand picked, gently pressed, fermented and aged on their fine lees for 4-6 months to add texture and depth. You’ll bask in the radiant golden straw color of the wine with a viscosity that is visible as it is poured into the glass. It is a very aromatic wine with notes of pear, peach, grapefruit, apricot and white flower with a stony salinity. The flavors are vibrant and fresh with a citrusy core and finishes bright and dry. Can you say, “fire me up some grilled octopus marinated in a local lemon olive oil, please”? A complex, delicious wine for summer outdoor dining to pair with a plethora of raw seafood, a garden fresh spinach/ricotta homemade ravioli or a simple chicken/cilantro/onion/lime tacos. Deee-lish!
