Description
Sauro Maule Ca’ Lombarda is made from 100% Merlot grapes grown organically in the Colli Berici area of Veneto. The estate, Azienda Agricola Il Cavallino, cultivates vines on limestone soils using natural farming methods without herbicides or pesticides. Grapes are hand-harvested and destemmed, then undergo natural fermentation in stainless steel tanks with two weeks of maceration. The wine ages 10 to 12 months before bottling unfined and unfiltered, with no added sulfites. This Veneto IGT wine reflects Sauro Maule’s low-intervention winemaking approach.
