Sentido Contrario translates to “opposite direction.” This brand draws inspiration from Chilean horseracing, where riders race around the track clockwise, the reverse direction than they do in Europe. This brand plays into the fact that much of Chile’s winemaking culture is inspired by European traditions (mainly French), but they have made a name for themselves through their unique wine styles. Chile’s Maule Valley is one of the country’s oldest and most well-known regions. The climate here is ideally suited to a variety of red grapes, each bringing their distinct flare to the blend.
