These are wines that are big and rich while still being complex. This release is from the 2016 vintage, which means that it’s been aging at the winery for a year, and while it’s drinkable now, over time (if stored properly), it will gain more complex and delicate flavors that offset the richness in the wine. The Cabernet has a touch of other Bordeaux varieties to soften the brashness of the wine and really round it out. With beautiful structure, rich red fruit, and oak complexity, this wine will delight for years to come.
