It’s Your Birthday 2022/2023 is a co-fermented blend of red and white grapes from various organically farmed vineyards across California. Initiated in 2018 as an experimental project, this cuvée combines varieties like Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, and Syrah, among others. The 2022/2023 edition emphasizes the influence of press cuts and oxygen exposure, with separate fermentations for free-run and hard-press fractions. The final blend, approximately 50% red and 50% white, results in a vibrant, unfiltered wine designed for enjoyment when served chilled.
